MOME London – Terms & Conditions

 

MOME London, operated by MOME Group, provides creative play facilities, classes, memberships, parties, and café services for families with young children. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our facilities, bookings, memberships, and interactions with our business. By using our services, you agree to the following terms.

 

1. General Use of the Facility

 

1.1. MOME is designed for children aged 0–4 years.

1.2. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or responsible adult at all times.

1.3. All visitors must follow the rules displayed in the venue and any instructions given by staff.

1.4. MOME reserves the right to refuse entry or request that individuals leave the premises if behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful.

2. Soft Play & Session Rules

 

2.1. Soft play is available to children aged 0–4 years and is charged per child.

2.2. Sessions run according to the booked time slot only. Entry is permitted from the session start time.

2.3. Early arrivals cannot be accommodated, and late arrivals do not receive additional time.

2.4. Families must vacate the space promptly at the end of their session to allow for cleaning, resetting, and preparation for the next booking.

2.5. Ordering food or drinks does not extend session time.

2.6. Walk-ins may be accepted subject to availability but are not guaranteed.

2.7. MOME reserves the right to charge for any damage or excessive soiling caused to equipment or furnishings.

3. Creative Classes

3.1. Creative classes are designed for children aged 0–4 years, with parent participation required.

3.2. Classes run for approximately 45 minutes and are limited in capacity.

3.3. Classes are delivered by trusted creative partners to provide a more immersive, theatrical experience.

3.4. All facilitators are fully DBS-checked, insured, and experienced in working with young children.

3.5. Classes follow structured creative formats; themes may vary depending on the programme and partner but do not necessarily change weekly.

3.6. Parents or guardians must remain with their child throughout the class.

4. Bookings & Payments

4.1. All bookings for classes, soft play, memberships, parties, and events must be made in advance via our website unless otherwise agreed.

4.2. Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

4.3. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless stated otherwise.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Classes & Soft Play: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.
  • Birthday Parties & Events: A deposit may be required. Cancellation terms will be shared at the time of booking.
  • MOME is not responsible for non-attendance due to illness, traffic, or personal circumstances.

5. Memberships (General)

5.1. Memberships provide discounted access and additional benefits depending on the tier selected.

5.2. Memberships are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled in line with the notice period.

5.3. Memberships cannot be paused.

5.4. Members may upgrade their membership at any time, with remaining time credited toward the new tier.

6. Membership Notice Period

6.1. All memberships require a minimum two-month notice period to cancel.

6.2. Notice must be submitted at least two months before the next billing date to avoid further charges.

6.3. Membership fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle has begun.

7. Food & Drink Policy

7.1. MOME operates as a café and provides all food and drinks.

7.2. Outside food and drinks are not permitted for adults or children, including takeaway coffee from other cafés.

7.3. This policy supports allergen management, hygiene standards, and the sustainability of the space.

7.4. Baby food, bottles, formula, breast milk, and age-appropriate baby food are always permitted.

7.5. Please inform staff of any allergies when ordering.

8. Birthdays, Parties & Group Gatherings

8.1. Birthday celebrations and group gatherings must be discussed and approved in advance.

8.2. Guests may not purchase standard tickets and take over tables or play areas without prior agreement.

8.3. MOME offers a range of party packages suitable for different budgets and group sizes.

8.4. Advance planning allows us to staff appropriately and ensure a positive experience for all guests.

9. Health, Safety & Hygiene

9.1. Visitors must follow all health and safety guidance provided by staff.

9.2. Children showing signs of illness may be refused entry.

9.3. MOME is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow rules or instructions.

9.4. High hygiene standards are maintained throughout the venue.

10. Behaviour & Conduct

10.1. All visitors are expected to behave respectfully.

10.2. Unsafe, disruptive, or abusive behaviour may result in refusal of entry or early termination of a session without refund.

11. Photography & Marketing

11.1. Guests may photograph their own children but must avoid capturing other families.

11.2. MOME may take photos or videos for marketing purposes with parental consent. Opt-out is available by informing staff.

12. Personal Belongings & Liability

12.1. MOME is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

12.2. Use of the facility is at your own risk, except where liability arises from staff negligence.

13. Data Protection

13.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR regulations.

13.2. Data may be used for bookings, communication, safety, and service updates.

14. Changes to Terms

14.1. MOME reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions. Updates will be shared via our website or email.
